‘As the fishing’s died off, shall we land on the island and have a look round?’ suggested Veronica.
‘Sorry, I don’t go there,’ David declared.
‘Why ever not?’ she asked. ‘It would be terrific to land and have a look round while we’re here. Apparently it’s lovely.’
‘Absolutely no way! We just don’t go on that island. Look, we might as well call it a day now and get you back to the hotel for dinner. We can have an early start in the morning to make up for it.’
