Murdo could only stand in complete bewilderment and stare at Jackson. In that moment, he felt as though he had never hated anyone quite as much. Mark made all the right noises about wishing one of the party had caught the marlin, but the Japanese seemed genuinely delighted that someone had caught a fish. Meanwhile, Don had opened up the boat’s big diesels and they were powering back through the swell towards Cairns.
