Oakmere Park Golf Club

Our 18 hole course, named after Admiral Sherbrooke V.C., consists of 6565 yds (white tees) of rolling, undulating terrain, with a par of 72. A pleasant relaxing walk with ponds and the Dover Beck meandering through the course coming into play on some of the holes.Our 9 hole course, named after Commander Mortensen, is a championship length course of 6407 yds with a par of 72. Much care and time has been invested in the natural heathland landscape with trees, gorse and hedgerow to establish an interesting and challenging layout.

The Course is 6609 in yardage off the yellows, but to members playing in their 2 regular competitions each month (the Medal and Stableford) have 6926 yards to play. Par for the course is 74, with 5 par 5’s, and only 3 par 3’s.

The Park Wood Clubhouse is fully equipped and elegantly appointed to hold golfing or non-golfing functions and banquets Our chefs have prepared the menus for your perusal with Prices starting from £12.00 per person. There are two rooms available, offering a wide range of choice, whether for the small reception for the family and close friends or the larger, more formal gathering. The Room Hire for the Meridian is £150 and will hold up to 60 seated or 80 for a reception. The Ridge Restaurant will hold up to 150 seated or 250 for a reception, and we do not levy a room hire charge unless numbers are below 70.

Barton-on-Sea Golf Club, founded in 1897, is situated on the coastal cliff between Highcliffe and Milford-on-Sea. The current 27 holes are a combination of the original Harry Colt design from 1932 and the newer holes designed by the well-known J. Hamilton Stutt, a founder member of the Association of British Golf Course Architects which were completed in 1992.

Retford Golf Club

The Club was founded in 1920, originally six holes designed by Tom Williamson, and soon extended to nine holes. In 1990 a further nine holes were opened to give an 18 hole, 6409 yards, par 72 and S S S 72 course.The course is most picturesque and is played mainly through mature oak woodland with tree lined fairways to test the most talented of golfers. The underlying rock strata is sandstone and, with a fairway irrigation system, ensures that the course is normally playable throughout the year. The extensive woodlands provide a natural habitat for numerous species of birds and animals.

Bisham Abbey Golf Club

Bisham Abbey Golf Club (B.A.G.C.) was established in 1972.The challenging 9 Hole Par 3 course is situated in a beautiful riverside setting in the grounds of Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre. The Abbey has a rich and colourful history dating from the 13th century.The course isn’t long (2,518 yds for 18 holes) which means it is well suited to beginners, junior players, veterans and people with busy work or family lives.Part of the golf course has recently been remodelled and made more challenging due to a flood compensation requirement for the new Sports Building. With a tremendous effort from many of the club members (and particularly the Veterans section) we opened our new clubhouse in January 2005.The main objectives of B.A.G.C. are the promotion and encouragement of the learning and playing of golf together with related social and recreational activities, particularly for local people in the area of Bisham Abbey.
