West Byfleet Golf Club

The course was designed in 1904 by the well known course architect and golf professional Cuthbert Butchart, who also worked on designing courses such as Worplesdon, West Hill, Hunstanton and Royal County Down. The course is built on Bagshot sand, which means that it is very free draining and is playable even at the wettest times of the year.The course is an easy walking course of 18 holes, 6,211 yards (SSS 70) for men and 5,652 yards (SSS 72) for ladies. It represents a very good golfing challenge to both professionals and amateurs alike with many woodlands, narrow fairways and 91 bunkers.

West Hill Golf Club

The course design is attributed to Cuthbert Butchart who became the first professional before the course was built. It has remained largely unaltered in layout but much work has gone into improving the quality of the fabric and the presentation. The watering system for the greens and tees was installed in 1981 and this has now been augmented by full state of the art fairway watering. A bunker refurbishing programme was started in 1999 and all 18 holes have reprofiled bunkers with improved drainage and carefully selected sand. Tee renovation has provided an outstanding aspect for each hole even before a shot is played. Here one can appreciate the great trees, usually far enough from the fairway, with heather intervening to provide a colourful ribbon around the semi rough.

Few can doubt the beauty of the West Surrey course with its tree-lined fairways and contrasting scenes of the Surrey landscape. The course winds slowly upwards towards its highest point 440 feet above sea level, round the 16th tee.From there, apart from a teasing climb to the 17th, it begins a gentle descent back to the clubhouse and it is not fanciful imagination to say that it has the tranquillity and charm of a bygone age.Opened in 1910 the course was designed by the the renowned architect of that time, W Herbert Fowler, who created nearly 40 courses in England , Scotland, Wales and America, most famously Walton Heath.Until recently the course measured 6,259 yards but with the replacement of all greens to USGA standard this has been extended to 6,482 yards with a few even more challenging drives required. Finest quality greens and the introduction of fairway watering ensures the course is always presented to the highest standard at all times of the year.

Welcome to Wildwood – Opened in 1992, and designed by world renowned architects Hawtree, Wildwood is located in the heart of breathtaking Surrey countryside, yet only a convenient 55 minutes outside of central London. At 6655 yards, par 72, with USGA specification bent grass tees and greens and numerous water hazards, this superb parkland course presents a challenge for golfers of every standard. A testing par 3 short course, with a number of exciting holes over water opened in Spring 2002. The addition of a recently completed new nine hole loop on the Championship Course now provides golfers with the added playing flexibility of 27 continuous holes.
