Bognor Regis Golf Club

Established in 1892 with two 9 hole courses. In 1922 the Club settled at its present 18 hole course at Innerwyke; a place once described as “charming, peaceful and rustic spot”. James Braid planned the course and F G Hawtree constructed it. Within easy reach of the sea and with views of the South Downs, the course presents a challenge for the ablest of golfers; its fairways being divided by a mix of hedges, trees, streamlets and the whole being bounded by a waterway, the Aldingbourne Rife.

Boldmere Golf Club

Boldmere Golf club was established in 1936 originally as a 9 hole golf course. The club boasts the oldest pro-am event in Europe, with top professionals joining the competition since it began in 1952. A recent score of 57 by M. Morris stands as the lowest round at Boldmere golf club and a 5 under par round at boldmere with all of its challenging par 3’s is no mean feat. The par at boldmere is 62 with a total of 4202 yards, although only a short course consisting of 11 par 3’s, 6 par 4’s and 1 par 5, it is found by all who play here to be a tricky and challenging course due to the length of the long par 3’s where many golfers need a wood to reach.
