Normanton Golf Club

Hatfeild Hall, although originally built between 1598 and 1608 for Gervase Hatfeild and his wife Grace, has little Jacobean about it now. Its arched windows typify the late eighteenth century gothic style and constitute much of its charm today. The Hall, most of which was built in 1775, remained in the Hatfeild family for almost 300 years. It was then sold in 1897 at an auction in this Strafford Arms, Wakefield, for £3,750.

Manor Golf Club

The Manor Golf Club is an 18 hole Championship Course, which measures 6508 yards, with its main features being six lakes which meander through the middle of the course, with stunning views of Tong & the Cockersdale valley. A nice Yorkshire course to play which players of all abilities will enjoy. The course played off the yellow tees is 6073 yards long.

Otley Golf Club was founded in 1906 and in 2006 celebrated its centenary. It is one of the most pleasant parkland courses in Yorkshire. With the magnificent wooded Chevin creating an impressive backdrop and some of the finest views to be found in the country, Otley enjoys an enviable location.Major investment in machinery, drainage, irrigation and manpower over a good number of years has resulted in first class conditions. The mature course in its delightful setting presents a challenge to golfers of all abilities.The central situation of the Clubhouse makes it an ideal course for 9 holes before lunch and 18 afterwards.
