Founded in 1993, The Hampshire Golf Club is set in 240 acres of rolling Hampshire Countryside in the famous Test Valley. The undulating land provides wonderful views and a backdrop for the 35,000 young native hardwood trees and shrubs. The 9 hole Par 3 Academy Course provides an excellent facility to hone your short game. A 10 bay driving range and extensive short game area are also available to improve your game.

Kettering Golf Club

It was due to the initiative and enthusiasm of Dr. John Allison that golf was introduced into Kettering and a golf club formed in 1891. Dr. John Allison arrived in Kettering in 1889 from Coldstream in Berwickshire. He qualified in Edinburgh, and then worked as a house surgeon at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. In Kettering he became the senior practitioner during a career which lasted until he retired in 1930.

Swallow Hall Golf Course

Swallow Hall was founded in 1991 as a nine-hole golf course to attract people to the caravan site. A further nine holes were added in 1992 following the initial success of the original course. As we stand now, we have a beautifully maintained par-3 18 hole golf course and floodlit driving range with tuition available upon request. The golf course offers some very demanding holes from the 230yrd opening hole to the tricky 15th with a raised ‘volcano’ style green. We do have limited membership available, however, if you are interested please come down to talk to us in person or contact us directly. Green fees begin at £12 for a round of 18 holes, although 9 hole play is also available. The driving range costs £1 per token for 32 balls and has recently been refurbished and is now floodlit.

In 1910 a group of local enthusiasts founded and financed a 9-hole golfcourse on the Wetherby Ings where previously steeplechase racing was the major sporting activity.ClubhouseMost of the land was leased from the Leconfield Estate until the early 1920s when the course was extended to a full 18-holes to a design by the famous architect Dr. Alistair Mackenzie and the club commenced to lease and purchase the 90 acres piece by piece.

We have the usual facilities expected at a members club.The clubhouse was extended in 2005 to accommodate a new staircase block, including a lift to the first floor bar and restaurant for disabled patrons, a new professionals shop with a roof terrace accessed from the bar & lounge. The interior was also fully refurbished and consists of men’s and ladies changing rooms, new office accommodation as well as the Cotton Room restaurant and bar on the first floor.
