Canford Magna Golf Club

A challenging 6,496 yard course of undulating grassland featuring a good combination of both par 3 and par 5 holes. The course was designed by the International Architect Howard Swan, which is evident in the play of this popular 18 hole configuration. Of particular note is its natural habitat being graced with the presence of many species of birds and wildfowl.

Wrangaton Golf Club

Wrangaton Golf Club was formed in 1895 when a 9 hole golf course was established on rented land on the foot of the southern edge of Dartmoor.The club now owns the land, and has added a further 50 acres of parkland below the original course and a further 9 holes were established in 1988. The result is a uniquely different and challenging course, 9 holes moorland and 9 holes parkland, situated only 5 minutes off the A38between South Brent and Ivybridge.

Moors Valley Golf Course

The 18-hole course extends along the valley of the Moors River, it covers a total of 6337 yards and includes four par 5s, ten par 4s and four par 3s.As well as the 18-hole course there is a four-hole pitch and putt course with holes ranging from 35 to 70 yards. Other practice facilities include practice nets, chipping and putting greens. Everyone is welcome to play on the Moors Valley golf course. Coaching sessions are available for adults on Sunday and Monday mornings.

Broadstone Golf Club

The original course – known as the Dorset Golf Club – was laid out by Tom Dunn and was played to the east of the now disused Somerset and Dorset railway line and was part heathland and part parkland. In 1914, H S Colt was commissioned to redesign the course. Holes 6, 7 and 8 were incorporated in existing land and holes 10 to 16 were laid out to the west of the railway line, thus changing the full 18 holes to heathland. The course has remained largely unaltered to this day, apart from modifying the 9th hole from a par 4 to a par 5.
