Visiting the area.The location is renowned for its natural beauty and affords panoramic views of the Cheshire Plain and beyond to the Welsh mountains in the west. Kinder Scout, the highest mountain in the Peak District, provides a dramatic backdrop to the course in the east.The course was established in 1907 and comprises 18 holes, with long and short game practice areas. The original 9 holes was complemented by a further 9 holes in 2002, providing a challenging course for all golfers.
